What you can do
A group is more than a chat window
Find the group that fits
Search by interest, city and how often the group meets. You can see how alive it is before joining: how many meet-ups a week, what was last talked about in the feed.
Create inside the group
Share a post, create an event or a route. An event you open in the group also shows up on the map, and a route you save joins the group’s routes — nothing has to be copied elsewhere.
Announcements and polls
An announcement sits at the top of the feed and notifies everyone. A poll hands the decision to the group: where, when, which theme. Votes count instantly and the result is in plain sight.
Matching and kimo
For crowded meet-ups, split whoever is coming into small groups and give each one a chat. Kimo picks a single person out of that same crowd — no leaving the app to draw lots.

Pick your interests and join one from the list. If nothing fits, open your own — a name, an interest and a city are enough.

Frequently asked
Does starting a group cost anything?
No. Starting a group and joining one are both free, and there’s no limit on how many groups you can belong to.
Can everyone see the group?
That’s up to you. Open groups show up in search and their feeds can be read. Closed groups are joined by link or admin approval only, and their feed stays invisible from outside.
Can matching put the same people together again?
Each split starts from scratch, so yes, it can happen. Re-drawing a split you don’t like is one tap — the result only reaches the group once you confirm it.
Who can start a poll?
Any member. Announcements are for admins only: because an announcement notifies everyone, that door is deliberately kept narrow.
